This policy explains what personal data MyBestKeys collects when you use https://mybestkeys.com, why we need it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure one-way hash, never as plain text.
- Orders: the products you buy, prices, promo codes used, the license keys delivered to you, and when each order was placed.
- Support conversations: the messages you send us, and your email address if you contact us without an account.
- Reviews: your rating and review text, shown publicly with your first name and last initial.
- Cookies and browser storage: a cookie that keeps you logged in, and your shopping cart, which is saved in your own browser. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Visit statistics: the pages you view, the buttons and links you click, how long pages are on screen, your device and browser, the site that sent you, and your country (looked up from your IP address on our own server). We keep the IP address only with its last part removed. Without your consent to analytics cookies, nothing is stored in your browser for this and we can't recognize you on another day; with it, a cookie recognizes your browser for up to a year. Page views and clicks are deleted after 90 days.
How we use it
- To deliver your license keys and keep them available in your account.
- To answer support requests and handle refunds.
- To prevent fraud and misuse of the store.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers that run the store for us, such as our hosting provider and, once enabled, our payment and email providers. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider and are never stored by us. We don't sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and order history while your account exists, so you can always find your keys, and for as long as the law requires us to keep purchase records.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Email support@mybestkeys.com from the address linked to your account.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date below it.
